WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
What an acting class covers.
Every class starts with a warm-up for body and voice, then moves into scene work. Students learn to listen, react and make choices that tell the story.
● Scene study. Working with a partner, learning blocking, and making a scene believable.
● Character work. Building who a character is, what they want, and how they move and speak.
● Voice and diction. Projection, clarity and pacing so the back row hears every line.
● Monologues and auditions. Choosing and preparing pieces for school shows, community theatre and college programs.
● Stage presence. Confidence, focus and taking direction.
